Otago v Counties

Strange team selected. Another loss to top off the season.
-
@SouthernMann Sounds like Donnelly is sticking around as well...
-
Being as positive as I can be we have seen debuts of what a dozen players. Most of which were aged 19-21. There were a lot of boys out there. All of that group probably needs another season to truly know their ability.
-
Looks like a lat change with Hurley in and Gilbert to 12. Going to try and watch Stodart, Faleafaga for his kicking, Asi and Whaanga.
-
Henry Bell has had a really impressive start in the open. Faleafaga had a bit of a wasted kick in the 22.
-
Hurley just dismissedike a fly down the left hand wing. Very poor defensively
-
Faleafaga cleared reasonably well from inside his in goal to just beyond the 22. Not massive yards, but satisfactory. Looks as if Hastie is doing a lot of the clearing from his left boot.
-
That Gray is rather elctic. Piss poor drifting defence
-
Nice kick behind the line from Faleafaga. Really strong scrum from Otago as well.
-
If Hurley can't beat the man he gets a bit stuck in contact and seems to be a sitting duck for turnover.
-
Hurley just an absolute liability at fullback.
-
Whaanga showing great strength for a kid of his age
-
Faleafaga reminds me of a poor man’s Sopaga , lot of bling but mostly fake

He's just not quite there yet. I think Millar's injury pushed him into a lot more rugby than they wanted him to play in their initial plans for the season.
-
Will Stodart looks an absolute talent
-
That was some outstanding play from Faleafaga to set up that final try
-
Pass of the year from Faleafaga .., damn that was some try
-
That's a nice glimpse of what he can do. A nice way to finish off the season.
