Seems to be a lot of Mako forwards missing.
Fozzie obviously getting worried about Plan A "At least stop the Mako" with his Blackadder call-up. KSM, Inch, PPP, Shalfoon, Renton unsighted for this one.
Hunter Leppien basically an U20s lock it seems.
I read this post and then expected to look at the loosie and have no idea who they were instead I saw Segner and Hicks there. Ka ching.

Graeme Ching? A handy openside who helped Nelson Bays draw with Scotland - but, he'd be a bit long in the tooth now!
Segner, Hotham and Nankivell going well for us into the wind.
Very strange game - the wind is so strong that it negates some of the advantage. However, we've found enough holes in Counties defense - and the scrum seems to be dominant - to have optimism for the second half.

Good enough as it turned out.
Very much liked what I saw of Segner - trucked the ball up repeatedly with minimal if any errors. Not sure quite where he should specialize, we end up with a few players like him - a bit big for openside and a bit small for 6 - maybe add a bit more bulk and play 8.

The story of NZ loose fowards.
Probably loose forwards everywhere.
You're really looking for guys who are physical freaks to play lock and blindside - unless you walk down the main street in Nadi, where there seems to be no shortage of blindside flankers!
