Bummer for Malcolm.
But every team has to deal with injuries.
That's pretty callous. Its sucks for him and it sucks for us all when one of the players who most people would put in a world 23 doesn't play
Pftttt. I’m sure there’s not much sympathy on SA message boards about Jordie, Shannon, Sam and Tyrell.
Haven’t suffered tournament ending, career impacting injuries though.
@booboo’s right though: reality of the tournament for each team.
Cursing Fourie’s jobs for boys squad selection again. Means we can’t bring Pollie in because we’ve got to call up a real hooker.

Really? How?
Maybe I misinterpreted it but it came across like:
Sorry your Mum died
But, hey, everyone dies
Not of that level, obviously, but it seemed dismissive - maybe just how it reads on a thread

First ton of the tournament coming up
-
That is fucking bullshit
YC possibly RC
-
@MiketheSnow it is becoming a joke Mike. How difficult is it really? Even the TV comms spotted it!

Romania lost 56-6 to Georgia in August. Just to give some context. Weakest team at the RWC IMO
Surely Namibia or Chile are equal, if not, even worse?
-
@The-Irishman just my opinion. Until Tier 2 teams play against each other in the World Cup, we won’t know. Would be good to have a plate competition to allow them more games.
-
@The-Irishman I will say, Chile look a lot better on attack. Not sure where Namibia sit these days. Will know more after they play Uruguay.

Maybe there should be an earlier Tier 2 comp, and the winner chosen from the "Minnow A Minnow" final (forgive the butchered Spanish).
-
Yep. These one way contests dont do rugby any favors. People will be switching off.

@nostrildamus there is something like that (Final Qualification Tournament) to settle the final qualifying spots. Tonga and Tonga qualified in front of USA, Hing Kong and Kenya
