Northland v Hawkes Bay

@J77 Our fourth choice hooker from the development team has been named at 16, because our third choice hooker (Devery) is injured; our second choice hooker has been named at 17, because our 2nd (Tim Farrell) and 3rd choice (Tu'ungafasi) LH props are injured; our fourth choice TH prop is named at 18, because our 1st choice just left to join Tonga ('Apikotoa) and our 3rd choice (Salmon) is injured. In the backline we have a centre and a reserve midfielder who shouldn't even be in the squad, but probably are because they were still under contract and Toala and Fomai are with Samoa. No Lowe, Tiatia and Makene in the 23 and Tu'itavuki just left to join Tonga, too. Isaia Walker-Leawere is injured, too. Still waiting for Brad Weber to return.

@taniwharugby looking a lot healthier than it was that's for sure.
We just need to be smarter. Channel that Ta$man game attitude and we'll be okay. Unfortunately that's the only time we've seen us use our heads for 80 minutes this season.

@Stargazer looks like they may change the opponents. The image you posted has you guys jumping in the DeLorean and going back to play Auckland on the 26th. Who knows though..
Haha, and that's not close to the team we put out against Auckland either. The social media guy must be drunk.

That was probably the smartest and consistent we have played a game for years.

Yep. Unfortunately it's not in our DNA to put two decent performances out back to back on a regular basis.

HB heavy faves to take it

I've had far too many sullen drives south following trips to Okara Park to believe the odds

To put things in perspective in terms of trying to work out who’s missing who , Manawatu made 14 changes to their team on Wednesday night against Auckland with over 80% of the team under 22 and beat a very handy Auckland team.
I think if your a bit off in this comp , you open the door big time.
Difference for me will be that 8 and 9 HB combination -
Apparently Corey Te Whata-Colley has picked up an injury and Wilton Rebolo has been named on the bench.
