Northland v Hawkes Bay

Never seen Ranger run that fast since 2013

@stargazer Oh woe is me, please give me some hope and confirm that my guys do not have to play Southland. I am even getting nervous about facing up to the 'Poo!
-
And I thought we played badly against Auckland
-
@Stockcar86 That was only the beginning ...

Best Magpie was McClutchie again. He's having a great season. I hope he gets a new SR contract, because he sure deserves it.
I assume Morgan has got a long term contract so the Canes wont be able to admit they made an error and finally select McClutchie?

Jonah Mau’u gets my man of the match ,outstanding over the ball ,deadly with ball in hand a full 80 minute performance
Nock was very good , one of his better performances for the Taniwha wish he could turn up to the Blues with this game , Rob Rush lead by example and was superb .
I do wonder if Jonah has been signed by MP , he would be handy back up to Dalton at the Blues
Commiserations to the Magpies , i do wonder if having to roll all their key guys all the time with so many injuries and few tight games along the way have taken their toll
Flanders always impresses me and did again tonite . -

Morgan has still one year on his Canes contract. Brett Cameron, too.

We've been badly affected by injuries, but it's also the bad signings by Josh Syms last year and the RWC with several players in the Tonga and Samoa squad.

Who would have thought we would play that badly WITHOUT Chase Tiatia in the side
-
Outclassed tonight. Very average performance. We could easily be winless this season. Thankfully we aren't.
That ref was mediocre. Didn't look like she would have the pace to keep up. Not saying she caused us to lose. Wouldn't want to see her get any more games though.

Sounds Canadian
Yes, Maggie Cogger-Orr. She has been in NZ since 2014, and was recently appointed the Women’s Referee Development Manager at NZR.
