Choat vs. Segner should be good value. Harbour boy Sail getting a start.

Are we expecting any All Blacks to feature at any other stage during the NPC?

Seems strange for Havili to be heading to the World Cup with likely just one game under his belt...

Renton, Havili and Tom Marshall out from last week's starting XV.

Marshall had a head knock, didn't see that Renton was injured - I think he played 80 minutes.

    Sail, Nankivell and Alosio in.

Shalfoon, Fletcher and Gualter onto the bench.

Had to google Fletcher - been playing club rugby for Kahurangi. Didn't become a Warrior.

Good to see Beehre stays in the starting side. Alama would've gone for Dalzell

First time in a couple of years that Ioane has played 8

It would be good to have a list of injuries.

I looked at that Auckland team and thought the same thing. 🙂

Probably both teams will need to be a lot better than their first round games - unless the opposition isn't! 🙂

That back three can do some damage, but I do wonder about their kicking game. I guess that Plummer or Sullivan will defend at fullback?

I wouldn’t be writing off Auckland. Patty and Akira add some much needed punch in the pack. Really interested to see how RTS goes at fullback. I doubt there will be much kicking from him.

@Duluth Really want to see him go well at 10 and to stake his case to play in that position at a higher level.

Under Ryan Aoane's best chance of AB return is at 8.

Change to Ta$man line-up: Coxon starting at LH prop instead of Sykes-Martin. Matt Graham-Williams coming onto the bench (17). (Quentin MacDonald is the reserve hooker)
