@bayimports well tipped.Ipswich it is and another youngster on loan to Hibs
Broja looks like a good loan move too for Fulham.
Yeah he’s brilliant but needs pitch time to find his feet.
-
The young northern Irish lad for Liverpool was savage good vs Chelsea.
-
We certainly need someone who can put it in the back of the net. I'm getting sick of commentators going on about the good football that Fulham play. Pretty triangles are meaningless if you are anaemic in the final third.
My only concern with Broja is can he will come back from his long term injury and be the player he seemed to be before.
What were Chelsea thinking slapping a 50 mill valuation on him? He can't get in their first team ahead of a guy they paid half that for in the summer.

City will be happy with todays result
Arsenal really bossed Liverpool today, it is looking like a 3 way title race, at least it is at the moment. Liverpool exposed by doing their usual run around crazily pressing but Arsenal good enough to pass through it to find a lot of space. And not having a real full back against Martinelli is dangerous.
Some crazy games over the whole weekend, Newcastle v Luton the highlight. In the end most of the relegation contenders drew and Sheff U (and probably Burnley) look goneburger.
-
Well the arsenal Liverpool game brought back memories of those “minties moments” ads…

I think Luton might well survive. They should be odds on to pick up 3 points this weekend at home to the hapless Sheffield.
-
I hope Luton avoid the drop. Having the three promoted teams go straight down and the three relegated teams bounce straight back up (quite possible) is a bad look.
Whatever happens the 24/5 EPL looks likely to be quite a bit stronger than this current class.
Relegation could still be decided by points deductions. If Forest get pinged I reckon they're down.

Luton have surprised me, they looked very limited early on in the season but now Barkley is looking like the player he should have been (he was in the England World Cup squad in 2014) they have some real attacking threat. Happy if they stay up.
Forest's penalty looks fairly nailed on as far as I know. As they didn't sell Johnson before June 30, their outgoings were way above their income. And Everton may get another deduction, not sure if it will be this season though?
(Players still active from the Eng 2014 World Cup squad: Joe Hart, Danny Welbeck, Chris Smalling, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, James Milner, Raheem Sterling, Adam Lallana, Ross Barkley, Fraser Forster, Luke Shaw
-
Luton look every bit a team that will stay up. The only other team not mentioned that needs to be careful right now is Palace. Eze and Olise injured and the longer they hold on to old Roy, the longer they will drift closer to the zone. It’s a big call, but Luton, Forest and Everton are showing enough fight. This is of course assuming further deductions don’t enter the chat!
-
You would have to think Luton have every chance of staying up after their last few displays. Would be huge as they were everyone’s first choice to go down a few months ago.
Like you Dogmeat I am sick of Fulham being praised for pretty losing football. The loss of Mitrovic is even worse than I thought and I think the risk is still there for us to drop right in the relegation zone. I wrote something similar in the friends of Fulham forum and they have banned me for life. -
@middleman I think we will be fine. There are still three sides worse than us and as @KiwiPie says Forests penalty looks nailed on. Even if they only get a couple of points deduction they'll be in trouble.
Burnley Sheffield Forest Palace Everton and Luton should all be more concerned than Fulham. Us Brentford and Bournemouth battling for 12-14th.
Next year though could be a worry. We need to rebuild the squad. Some are getting too old, some will leave Palhinha, Tosin, Tete, Jedi. Plus there's always the worry Marco will up sticks. Pretty thankless task as the moment. The Khan's don't seem to match his ambition.
-
Bournemouth were red hot but have gone off the boil and if teams slow down our play we look awful. We wont go down either, but I wouldn't be surprised if Fulham beat Bournemouth this weekend after the last two showings.
As for Luton where they could find trouble in week 25 and 29 which are double features within the week, in 25 they play Liverpool and City..that should at least dent momentum
-
It’s the inconsistency that gets me. Two really impressive 5:0 wins not so long ago , play well often against top teams and can’t beat the teams around us. How long before Iwobi and Bassey are back ? Surely will lose Palhinha Tete and others at the end of the season. Was full of confidence when Silva turned down the Saudis and signed a long contract. Still don’t know what to make of the Khans and whoever else is involved in recruitment because it stuck out for a long time we needed a striker of decent quality.
Im still sour and think some of our problems arise from that shitty FA cup game against Manure last season.
Fingers crossed against Bournemouth. Pleasure to find another Fulham supporter. Non in my small city. -

Apparently Nigeria has flogged Iwobi. Reports make it sound like he's running on fumes.
You listened to the same podcast as me!
And they just made the final after a penalties win against South Africa. Ivory Coast v DR Congo currently 0-0 in the other semi.
Meanwhile Son is coming home as Korea lost to Jordan in the semis - playing Qatar in the final after 3-2 win over Iran.

Football Weekly, The Rest is Football, Two Fulham pods and occasionally The Second Tier. Barely leaves time for all the other pods I follow.
I thought Iran would smash Qatar.
3/4 semi-finalists from the Gulf Region....
Go The Chivalrous!!! Is there a worse team name in sport? - apart from the Black Cocks obviously

Arsenal really bossed Liverpool today
Arsenal did the same for most of the FA Cup match but couldn't finish their chances.
Two really comical goals that I don't even see in my Sunday league.
We need to back up that performance against West Ham - Arsenal's bogey team this season.
-
West Ham are out of sorts right now, doesn't take much sometimes to turn it around, but they looked decidedly average against us, Shef U even looked like the better team in their draw. I would be very surprised to see Arsenal lose this one.
-
Blue card in play for some levels next next year. Wont be in EPL next year, that is confirmed..
I can imagine a few managers not just players end up with these
