VAR is busted right now. We also conceded a goal vs Crystal Palace last game when Ayew clearly handled the ball, and from his body language he clearly knew he'd handled too. And yet VAR gave it, fortunately it didn't cost us the game but it did make for a very unnecessarily uncomfortable final few minutes

Hard to determine whether the ball was out from the angle they used. A push in the back sure. But a VAR decision is just an excuse and the poor performance and Coach are the primary problems.
Arsenal needed 2 midfielders in the summer. Rice is great. Harvertz is a bust and we could have got an actual midfielder. Someone with pedigree instead of a stupid experiment with someone that could not even perform at Chelsea as a forward. Lucky if we get fifth this year.
Defense is good. Some problems. Offense is bereft of ideas.

9 men will do that.. at one stage even with 9 looked like it could be 2-2 and then Jackson took it away from them

I didn't watch the game. But 11-9 will always be tough.

VAR was crucial to making good decisions in this game, it’s the process that VAR follows that can irritate me. For Chelsea’s second goal, they could have checked it in 5 seconds after the goal was scored whilst the players were celebrating, instead of which it took minutes whilst the players were back in position ready to start. Improve the process, don’t throw the baby out with the bath water.

I hate it now. If it’s not obvious and it takes 2 minutes of replay then stick with onfield decision. Game slowed to a halt at times.

I still am having difficulty understanding Romero's red card. He played the ball first and just happened to clatter the other guy afterward. Sure what happen after wasn't good but it was in the act of playing the ball. This VAR in soccer and rugby has to be improved. Haven't look at Rashfords's one today yet.

The game changed 20 years ago, you can’t make contact with the ball and then follow through studs up into someone’s shin anymore. That isn’t controversial.

@Dodge Yes, not a hard rule to understand. Like when Villa played Chelsea earlier in the season, my Chelsea mates were sulking when Gusto followed through and caught Lucas Digne studs up after collecting the ball. Was a clear red today. Didn't seem to whinge so much after the Tottenham game funnily enough.

What a disgusting decision, especially considering a team like Man City can flaunt the rules and get off scot free
