@Stargazer jeez Bedwell-Curtis at lock is taking small locks to a whole new level.

In saying that, I just looked up his height and he's 1.94m so not the shortest infact.

@Canes4life Blackwell is pretty stocky though at 114kg, Bedwell-Curtis is 103kg.

And no lock on their bench. Three in the ABs though. 🙂

Not a lot of height in the loose forward trio either. Welcome to the NPC!

    Of the two young locks:

    • Scott Jury was ruled out for the season because of a pectoral muscle injury.
    • Fiti Sa has a knee injury.

Real difference between the officiating in this game compared to the Ta$man v Otago game , Paul Williams drawing a line in the sand when it comes to players lying in the ruck area .
Counties Manukau scrum this early in the comp has to be a concern

Thought Sotutu was lucky not to get penalized for playing the ball on the ground as the tackler then

NZR is saving on travel costs by using the local officials. 😉

Williams showed early that he is trying not to be biased as JRK should have won that ruck penalty.
