Does Leo know what a tackle is? He was badly exposed twice out wide.
No real pace again.
Other pool games are against Samoa & Fiji
Have NZ ever lost all their pool matches?
The NZ men are still alive as they beat Samoa 17-12. All on for the Fiji game.
Was the performance against Samoa better? More accurate passing etc?
@Duluth
I never saw the game but NZ won with an ET try to Ware, so they could have just as easily lost.
With everything on the All Blacks Sevens at the Perth SVNS on Friday night, veteran Regan Ware was the hero that New Zealand needed.
Carters try:
Ware’s winner in extra time:
@Duluth music being played during the game creeping into 7s now as it has in the NBA.
The BF7s beat USA 24-7 to top their group.
There is the possibility of a QF against Aust.
@Bovidae said in 2023-2024 World Sevens Series:
Confirmed.
Alright, hopefully they surprise me. NZ v Fiji about to start
Fiji with a rough start. Stuck in their 22 for the first 4mins, concede a YC & two tries
HBF a good size venue for the crowd
Good defence keeping the pressure on Fiji but NZ passing has been a bit shit
14-7 at HT to NZ
That was crap. Timing was way off on that short ball. Wasted a good chance to extend the lead
Molia is injured
McGarvey-Black fell for an Ardie-esque dummy
This NZ side under Cama are really hard to watch.
A serious lack of detail
NZ needs to move on from the veterans and refresh the team. But they'll hang on for Paris.
21-14 Fiji they scored in the last few seconds of regular time
Such an inaccurate side
They still might scrape through on points
