How highly do they rate Jamie Hannah and Tahlor Cahill? Assuming Quin Strange re-signs, it is a tough sell to take someone already with another Super side I'd think.

If Dunshea stays which I have not heard he is leaving,they will probably go with Hannah or Cahill from the academy.

Crusaders to play Munster in early 2024

In the meantime, as a way of testing the water regarding the fan appeal of seeing Super Rugby Pacific sides playing in Europe...

RugbyPass has learned that the Crusaders will embark on a pre-season trip in late January 2024 that will include a match against Munster in Limerick.

If that idea comes to pass, it would mean a return to Thomond Park for new Crusaders boss Rob Penney, who spent two years as head coach at the Irish province from 2012 to 2014.

Late January.. so looking at this year the Crusaders played preseason matches on Feb 10th, 17th and the first SR match was on Feb 24th

If this does happen I would assume no current All Blacks would go.

@Duluth Yep, it will be a typical preseason squad. I still remember the Highlanders playing a French team in preseason, IIRC in Singapore, and they got hammered because the French were in the middle of their season and the Highlanders hadn't played a game, yet, and didn't have their ABs. The reason why I remember is because Richard Buckman suffered a horrific season-ending injury in that game that ruined his (then) potential ABs chances.

Jack Goodhue officially gone but is it to another nz franchise? Or as some have said France ,did here something but unsure if it's %100 correct

Yeah the blues did show interest as hurricanes did but there was also Japan in the picture to , but I thought some 1 on fern said he playing Bunnings For Northland
