    My guess is George Bridge.

    Oh god I hope so.

He is a useful player at Super level.

He is definitely one of the players of all time

Am I wrong but I think Aumua's strength and lack of speed make him better suited to 2nd five than centre ?

I don’t think Amua lack speeds for a centre
He compares on the same level as Tele’a
at the highlanders and Lienert -Brown.
At Centre he has less traffic to negotiate maybe just a one on one tackle to bust that is where he does damage.
He will go better this week with Havilli inside him to give him space.
McLeod at 2nd five is a blind runner who cuts back in and away from his centre McLeod had a lot of carries last week but nothing went outside him all game or he spilled the pass.

@Chris His big work on is defence. Hasn't improved from last season, if round one was a valid indication. He was also inconsistent for Ta$man last year.

I think playing with McLeod didn’t help they both are similar in defence.
    Hopefully Ellison can improve that.
I think DMac felt one Amua hit.

@Chris has he played for the Saders before?

The thing is no deal has been done the Crusaders are negotiating an early release it may not get over the line.I don't want to throw a name out there and it falls through. But they are looking for a FB who can play wing.
They are looking at a couple of options. But nothing signed as yet.

    Gareth Anscombe?

Is that a typo and it's Riley Hohepa on the bench? He has been with the Chiefs so must not be needed now.

Johnny McNicholl to return to New Zealand

Johnny McNicholl to return to New Zealand

Scarlets have agreed to Johnny McNicholl’s request to be released from his contract to take up a playing opportunity in New Zealand. McNicholl, 33, made 130 appearances for the Scarlets over eight…

He must have got tired of being in a team that has been embarrassingly poor (as well as struggling big time financially) these last two seasons.

@Chris I think if you are gonna give the young guy a chance, you gotta back them, or at least give them a decent crack.

Plus is Havili really the answer?

No Havilli is not the answer,I don't believe Kemera is either but they have to run with him at least another game and hope he improves.

@Chris yeah, while last week he struggled, if he gets another crack and struggles again, then you need to look at how you use him going forward, too often these guys are thrown in the deep end, they fall over then dropped, at least he has the chance to redeem himself.

Any news on Reihana? Who may also not be the answer, but certainly showed enough to warrant a further look too.
