    @Chris Not surprising, trying to follow in the footsteps of his uncle.

    Fijian U20s First Five Isaiah Ravula’s in discussion with the Crusaders to sign for SR.
    He he does he will switch allegiance to NZ to try for AB selection in the future.

    IIRC he was disappointed to miss the NZ U20s so don't think it's a case of switching as Fiji was his second chance.

    He should try for Tonga U20s next year, then the senior ABs, then after a standdown when he's playing overseas declare for Samoa, then he's have covered all his bases.

    Yeah, maybe the NZ U20s should have picked him.

    I wonder if he missed out due to the fact he has another shot next year?

    Yeah that may have been it, I think he only turned 19 during the WC.

    Be interesting to see how he goes for the Poo against Canterbury this weekend.

    As I understand it Isaiah Ravula has now signed for the Crusaders, filling the Vacant First Five spot in the squad.

    @Chris So he may play for Crusaders U20 in 2024 and become their first choice 10. He was playing in Godfrey's shadow, this year, for Hurricanes U20.

    @Stargazer

    Probably I hear the NZ U/20s are keen on him for 2024 .

    I also see he was in the WC tournament team selected as the best First Five, he had a great WC in a losing team.

    @Stargazer Ravula definitely didn’t look as well equipped as Godfrey in the 10 jersey which is why I wish the Magpies would give him some time at 10. How is he meant to develop there if he’s always playing fullback.

    @Canes4life The problem with that is that McClutchie is a player who almost always plays 80 minutes and is playing very well. But I agree that if they decide to sub McClutchie, it should be Godfrey moving to 10 and not Makene.

    @Canes4life

    Ravula is a year younger than Godfrey, a year in u/20s is a big difference. He looks very good to me Ravula watching his u/20 games in the WC considering his team were losing.
    Godfrey too looks very good.

    It looks like Ennor is not moving from the Crusaders this from an interview with Rob Penny
    “The Crusaders will need More mid field depth given Braydon Ennor is expected to miss the majority of the season with a ruptured ACL, Penney confirmed.”
