Well Cotter might make him a good player, but he’s too lazy for the Blues. We don’t need failed Test players, would be a better fit for the Crusaders, he could compete with Grace for who makes the least tackles.
Isn't 'failed Test player' the Blues modus operandum..?

A 100% fit Suafoa could snag that 6 jersey next year
Twice the player of Frizell, 10x the character

Akira is leaving roughly the same time in his career Zinny was set to leave before a coach who didn't like him finally saw sense. But why stay and try and fight with a forward coach like Ryan in charge, who shepherded the flake Frizell through last year?
Samoa could be the big beneficiaries of this move.

Loose forward is always an area of riches for the ABs, so there is always going to be losers of quality depending on the selectors preference. I don't think that he has had 'the word', all the interviews of those on the fringes mention how little they get back from the ABs coaches. Obviously this could have changed with the new regime. But anyway, he looks to be prioritizing money and his family, good on him - I did the same with a young kid - without the money haha

Watch the video, he’s clearly pretty upset. Seems pretty clear he’s had the Sam Cane style tap.

It’s two isn’t it, three years since his last AB game and AB XV doesn’t count.

Why do you ask? Have you heard otherwise or just stirring the pot…
He's a pot stirrer, don't listen to him. Ardie's definitely at the Canes next year.
From the Canes CEO: Lee confirmed 30-year-old Savea will be back with the Hurricanes in 2025, amid reports one of the team’s iconic players was mulling over another season in Japan. “Ardie is back next year and he will just add to that (loose forward) group, which is exciting,” Lee told the Post.
