Hahaha Crusaders won it, I love these posts it relives the victory all over again I came keep reliving the Victory weeks after the final.
True, enjoy these sweet sweet salty tears. Because it is very obvious some that proclaim neutrality because they support one of the other 3, hate the crusaders. Which is fine, but don't claim neutrality - is a bit like I support NZ, or anyone playing Oz. One forward pass, leading to a line out, is not a game winning moment. There were dodgy calls both ways, and the bloody crusaders did their (under razor) thing and just fucking well won. Best team on the pitch and thoroughly deserved win. At the time for your best performance, saders brought it

Hey @pakman, have you noticed that no-one else has supported you with your curious little attempt at a new nickname for the Crusaders?
Do you think maybe because there's nothing really very clever, funny or in/appropriate about it?
Unlike maybe calling the Chiefs and the fans "The Ferals" from now on.
The Ferals.

@pakman what about the TMO's decision to not red ALB? You've left that out.
Thatβs not protocols. Incompetent TMO. Which is why there are two at RWC.

@Frank his team lost in the semifinal to the crusaders and last year lost the final when they were minor premiers.
And were well beaten. No complaints. Plenty of disappointment.

where did the "jesters" thing come from...i seemed to have missed when that became a thing

It's pakman trolling because he is so butt-hurt.

@Frank ok, i was getting that impression....but whats the joke?....are jesters famously bad at rugby?
Better than ferals.

some medieval association with Crusaders, perhaps?
-
Perhaps pakman was making some loose association with the final being a joke (not my words) but really the Crusaders play if anything a little too seriously, the jester tag seems weird attached to them.
-
@Machpants is that what a Jesters floppy hat is supposed to be?!?! guess that would make sense but i feel thats a real "b side" niche burn
"the medieval historian rugby fans are going to love this sick burn"

Jesters traditional wear false crowns
I associated it with the Don McLean song.
-
It comes from a song, that I think goes something like this....
A long, long time ago
I can still remember when the Chiefs won the Cup.
And this year they had another chance
To win again at the big dance
And Hamilton would be happy for a while.
But, Ben O'Keefe made them shiver
With every card that he delivered.
Bad news came at quickstep
They couldn't take the last step.
I think that Pakman might have cried
As he watched his telly, his beer beside
Crusaders won, some brains got fried.
The day, the Chiefs hopes....died!I shall get my coat again!
