Chiefs v Blues

That hit on Luatua was very nice

-

Blues playing quite deep

My feeling is that Ngatai and Crotty are the same style of player. I would go with Fekitoa, with training ground practice on his distribution from 13.

All this emphasis on the gym in the NH: Weber, Cruden, McKenzie dispels the myth imo.
-

Hall and West hopelessly outclassed in this game. Hall can't pass for shit and West won't take the ball to the line on the odd occasion he's actually at first receiver.

-

he's so far back it'd take him ages to get to the line!

Even if he did, they'd lose a good 10m anyway. He stands absurdly deep.
-

Agree, he rarely takes the correct option on the break. Stark contrast to Ngatai. He's a destructive runner on the wing though. -

he seems to be roaming and popping up all over the place, which is what he would do on the wing anyway

That is probably exacerbating the poor passing... but to be fair its a bloody lottery as far as the passing in Blues back line.... when they get it right they are looking not too bad.

Chiefs just totally out classing them.

Landers V chiefs in Rd 11 is going to be a bloody cracker!!
-

Yeah, West is probably a bit too deep at times. The Blues overall are better than I expected, they just don't have the killer instinct of the Chiefs when the break is made.
-

More of Ranger's brilliance in the midfield...

reckon the Blues will be happy with that half time score

-

for sure, Chiefs should/could be up by 10+ by now.
