Tate McDermott blaming refereeing for the loss. Not captaincy material.
Led with it too!! Australian rugby in a fucking nutshell. Derpus is not an outlier

That is fucked up.
A spectacular level of self-delusion. I actually feel a little jealous... to be that ignorant must truly be bliss. -

What a surly and ill-tempered response from McDermott. Questionable calls? Sure. But from what I saw, that went both ways.
Yep. Can't say it was the best refereeing ever. But also didn't feel like throwing things at the TV because of it either - it seemed to average out.

There's a generation that had their formative years coincide with winning a RWC and holding the Bledisloe. The return to the long term mean has had them blaming referees and calling other teams cheats ever since.

"Some of the call didn't go our way" Meaning: "that's the game and these things can go either way"
"Some questionable calls tonight" Meaning: "I'm a dickhead"
-
@mariner4life I took it as a comment across the comp, not just this game.

Yeah, understandable he’s disappointed but shouldn’t let that leak into the interview so bluntly

I don't think Stevenson was that bad. He was brillant in attack and his kicks are powerful. The O'Connor's 50-22 was not his fault : 1) the kick was very good 2) he was playing as a left wing and DMac was the fullback, so it was the latter to cover deep.
