Will be very happy if the Poms continue to ignore Freddy ...
He's 33 mate, he made England when he was in his prime.
Yeah. But he's way better than Smith

@booboo Well as he going to Japan, he will be ignored as such. He has really only played one good game for the Clan anyway.
Marcus Smith

Bloody hell I enjoyed that game and the next best thing to smith winning it with a try is fakatava, his comment when they hugged in the line up “I got you brother”…everyone knew the brief
Hunt miles better at 15, his break before failing to feed Gilbert on the wing was very good
Burns much better, he’s showing why you can’t just parachute into the comp, you need to learn how it works
Renton and Harmon huge, frizzel might actually be a better lock
Fuck im going to miss smith

Haven't watched much super rugby this year. Don't think I had watched the landers at all. Had to tune in for this game. I was like who is this first five sounds like a bar/bottle shop name.
Renton and Harmon I thought were great.
Fakatava brilliant finish. Great game.

That simple exit from the 22 in the first five minutes by the Clan (Burn's kicked it well into Red's territory) was a thing of beauty. I wondered why I was clapping and realized that Kiwi first-fives are so inept at such a mundane and basic thing.
Harmon is the best openside in NZ. -
The Landers haven’t quite had the season they would’ve hoped, but Harmon has been one of the standout players. His workrate is high, low error rate, hits with a bit of sting.
Criminal that Hunt didn’t pass to Gilbert after making such a good break.

Frizell was much more involved when he moved to lock as he wasn't playing so wide. He missed a couple of bad tackles before then.
ESPN says 21 tackles with no misses for Harmon.
Was it last week or the week before that Frizell played at lock. I thought he played really well in that game.

@Kirwan can't find a clip of it sorry. Was late in the first half though I think.
To be fair he was definitely going in low and I think you could justifiably argue it down to penalty only.
But you'd need to have a look first to do that.

@KiwiMurph I think Makalio was pretty reckless going in with no arms but he was super low. Frizell then went in shoulder first right on top of Vest' head. Was surprised at the time that Frizell didn't cop a yellow. Could have argued one for Makalio too. It happened at 29.21 in the first half but can't find it in any replay.
