You have to wonder why the Chiefs aren't challenging the Reds lineout in the 22. Their maul defence has been pretty useless but they've been so successful at disrupting the delivery when they've attempted to do so.

Poor strategy by the Chiefs - trying to play it through their brilliant outside backs in a predictable pattern that played into the Reds’ hands. Need to mix it up a bit and play it straight up the middle through the forwards. Missing Retallick clearly.

The last time they went route one repeatedly they lost the ball. Retaining possession hurting them. With the weather it's a night to play territory and they keep losing the kicking game.

Very good bal retention by Chiefs forwards and magnificent interjection by Ioane who takes the ball flat, attracts a defender and pops a great pass.
