I would like to see the battlers get there , I know a few old Bulldog supporters , 2 grand finals and 1 flag in their whole history , its been lean times for them

probably the least glamorous club in the competition , but they play an exciting brand of football

Dogs are the fairy tale from 7th. GWS are the fairy tale from Western Sydney.

Tough pick. Don't mind if either one gets up, but it looks a proper fucking bunfight right now

    Go the Bulldogs!!!

That last quarter was awesome. Desparation. Desparation. Desparation.

First Grand Final since 19-sixty-fucking-one !!

I've found my team for the GF.

Great shots of Tony Liberatore in the stands.

Didn't get to see most of the last quarter - am I right in thinking there was less than a kick in it pretty much the whole time?

A really scrappy game, but both teams just refused to die. It was great to watch, and I'm happy the Dogs won. Like the Sharks in the NRL, you love a fairytale team who haven't won in yonks.

That said, I'm tipping the Swans by 40. Their first half against Geelong was scary good.

GWS first half against the Swans was scary good, too. Very interesting GF coming up.

I'll be on the Northern beaches with Red Beard, drinking and/or watching rugby next Saturday, so will miss it.

I hope im wrong but ive a got a feeling this wont live up to expectations ,

the Dogs have played 3 massive games to get here , its been incredible ,

but just got a feeling they may be just a little overcooked ,

and the Swans will be primed , and a bit too clinical and ruthless for them

Yeah reckon this is really similar to what will happen in the NRL GF. Focus for the week will be on the 'fairytale' Bulldogs, while the Swans will go about their business quietly.

Swans team is packed with class players who have been to the Final before. I think the Dogs played their GF this week.

Yeah. Can't see Swans losing. But would be awesome if Dogs won

I think i say it every year, but I reckon the AFL blokes are winning the comp for "hottest missuses by code".

The Brownlow is always a fantastic perv

Its all plunge tops this year - not many of them are packing a lot in the way of gazanks, but there is a bit of talent on show.

And yeah, despite a lot of them being bogans, the AFL blokes can pull birds.

Fucking glad i didn't sit through all 12 hours of the Brownlow count to watch the short price favourite romp home by 12 lengths.

Alex Lloyd was pretty bad huh?

Does anyone else always find themselves a little let down by goal of the year?

The best thing about the Brownlow is twitter i reckon, there are some funny blokes out there. Dayne Swan running the Sportsbet one was pretty good.

    Okay, twitter and the ladies.

    Carn the Doggies

Frantic first quarter, heaps of pressure from both sides.

Dogs ruckman Boyd killing it and giving them a lot of first use. No scoring, few stoppages, lots of running. Last quarter will be pretty open at this rate
