Anyway, I couldn't care less what they post. Not my teams.

Says he who bites at any chance to defend Crusaders or Canterbury or stick the boot into Auckland/Blues.

@KiwiMurph I responded, because the sour comment was a response to something I posted. Some people need to lighten up.

Who would have thought an old picture could get so many panties in a twist.

@Crazy-Horse Yeah, although it seems only one person had his panties in a twist.

To put another spin on it at least an NPC team is posting something on social media so that's good.

Whatever. You re-posted an infantile banner, I commented on the banner. On a discussion forum. So it was discussed (on the right thread too!).

No panties twisted. As Chris noted, it's an embassing reflection on a group of fans.

    We're going to get reamed.

We are not playing well, unless there's a step change, it could get ugly out there. Frustrating year to watch these guys, there's talent, but not pointed in the right direction.

@nzzp Yeah we've looked good in patches but that's about it. Even having a 5-3 record is very flattering tbh.

As you said, I think a 20 point loss or more is on the cards here.

Excitement brewing ahead of Auckland clash — Canterbury Rugby

There’s a sense of occasion brewing amongst the Canterbury NPC side ahead of Friday night’s clash against old rivals Auckland.

Most games it's only been about 30-40mins of decent rugby. The pack has been misfiring despite some good individual performances

The backs have been better but the balance has been off since Sullivan and Trainor got injured

Other way round mate. The Auckland pack has been great at set piece, the backs have bombed quality ball. Multiple knock ons, stupid kicking decisions, ball travelling east west and midfield not straightening up the atack.
Most frustrating is our defense outwide has been extremely poor. We have had a lot of tries scored out there because our defense does not slide and teams are getting the overlap on us.

    @number9

Yeah the scrum has been strong.

The clean out work vs Waikato in particular was terrible. Lane, Vest & Pugh have been disappointing

Agree with the clean out in that game and Pugh off the back of a scrum is no Zinny. But shit the backs have pissed.me off.

he was awful against Northland, sure the ref gave us the rub on a few scrums, but he blew chance after chance.

Auckland have a pair of late changes with Tomas Aoake and Robbie Abel scratched. Joel Cobb comes straight onto the left wing for Aoake, Te Ariki Te Puni replaces Abel on the bench.
