Was reading that earlier too. Also some talk that Redkirk Warrior was on something when it won the sprint on saturday. I was quite happy with my $14 winner! Apparantly failed on the A sample and now awaiting B. Cant find anything official or in the media though.

Popping over Aus with wife and our eldest daughter for her 10th birthday. Seems rude not to go while there
Would have been cool if Peaky Blinders was running that weekend. You could have grabbed our owners tickets

Just giving this thread a bump ahead of the Spring Carnival.
Heading to Melbourne for the last day of the carnival on November 10, so that'll be fun, if a little drunken/expensive/untidy.

Awesome! I have never been. Would be awesome to go with a horse. Dreams are happily free.

I went to the Cup & Oaks Day back in 2007. Punting didn't go well at all, but the filly viewing was magnificent.

So farken goood!!!
Have landed two small 200 to 1 multis over the last few days. One of horses (to place) and one on NFL. Sucks when you only put a few $ on them and a $500 or $600 take could have been thousands!

I get to Oaks Day each year, its top of the corporate calendar - don't see a lot of horses (or fillies) though, mostly car park action. Great day though

Dogging? That would make for a great day along with the atmosphere...

Really want to do the Spring Carnival in Melbourne in all its glory. Maybe next year.
I'm booked in for Magic Millions on the Gold Coast in January which should be fun.

Is that when they have the mixed sale? We may have a in-foal mare for sale (Galaxy Miss who was retired on Monday)so may well be there. In saying that, I may be getting my sales mixed up.
Polly Grey running today and she looks a bit of alright but I am concerned that the track is a good 2 which I don't love running horses on. Saving grace is that it is Pumice.

Pretty decent career for Galaxy Miss mate. You guys should be pretty happy with how she has gone and the wins she has picked up
Yeah mate, 8 wins and over $200k in prize money when you include Pearl series bonuses.
I love having her back on the farm as she loves a cuddle. She has been served by Sham Express.
