Best day on the punt in years! 3 winners at Flemington including the cup. Couple in the locals. One at randwick.
Local bookie reckons skillful in the last at randwick

#13 Heartbreak City should be winning.
Then 17, 19, 21 and the Jap horse #3 Current Mirotic for a boilover.
This was the only tip from here I went with Heartbreak City e/w
@mariner4life maybe your bookie just wants some of his money back if you have had a good day
-
And another 2 winners! New shoes for the kids!
-
@mariner4life did you take your bookies tip as well?
-
Haha what a day! Up a grand on the punt. Stubbies all arvo. Viva le cup day
-
Well done!
Missed the first race but had winners on races 2, 3 and 4 which meant had some cash to put on Melbourne Cup that I otherwise wouldn't. Ended up with a bit on Qewy as an outsider and covered it with Hartnell for a place so only ended up marginally up on the main race.
Race 4 was a real cracker if anyone watched it. James McDonald just powered Demonstrate home from the rear of the field to win by about a length.
Always a good day!

What. A. Day. So many winners. Home. Blind. Happy as fuck.

More racing today at Flemington today with the crown oaks. Old Yankee Rose hot fav paying $1.70 fixed to win. Is this as bank as it seems? Everyone else is well out!
Also NZ Guineas on saturday down riccarton. Any hot tips @Hooroo ? I quite like the look of Hall of Fame with Matt Cameron on board.

@JK said in Rough tips and other bets...:
Oh and while the gurus are here....Saturday at Te Rapa....it looks like Gerald Mosse is riding in race 6. Is that THE Gerald Mosse????
Correct. He's riding the horse named after him - Mosse (unsurprisingly). He and Mosse's trainer John Bell are old mates.

@Smudge my mate is now asking for the downlow on the Horse (races under name Enough). Looks a good bet for race 6 despite first race going left handed,
No idea, to be honest. I don't follow North Island form as closely as the south.
