Really happy with Mr Pickles. He ran it tough and held on for 4th. For a first start, it was really good. He will go again at Taupo with Ricky Baker.
Polly over-raced for the first 600 and then got checked back to 2nd last and flew home for 4th as well. Obviously disappointing result but can't fault the horse, it was a super run. I thought it might mess with her mind a bit but she ate every last scrap that night and got straight into her breakfast which is really pleasing. She goes back to Te Rapa in two weeks. The King will be on Holiday I think but ABC may be back from Singapore as licence isn't sorted yet (I think)

I was sitting at a table with Stephen Marsh and he and his mate were asking about Polly. Anyway his friend said, "OK, I'm putting $1,000 on her" I laughed and thought nothing of it. But he did!!
I then found out after he was a massive punter and that $1,000 isn't a big bet for him.

Back on the horse, so to speak. Mulligans has recovered from her "mishap" and will contest Race 1 of the Cairns Cup carnival this weekend (a runner on Cup weekend!). 1250m maiden.
And we've drawn barrier 2! So better distance, good gate.
She'll jump at monster odds, and i promise (and expect) nothing.

Wow this forum really has everything. Took me a few years to find the fitness section (hasnt changed me from being fat). Now punting!
Will keep an eye out for your hot tips. Last couple of months I have been doing matched betting through this mob [https://bonusmoney.com.au/munmun5/pro](link url) fortunately have the time being self employed to get in the mix basically locking in profits regardless of the result or leveraging off bonus offers. Still building my bankroll but up 300-500 a week which is good. Dont have to follow form etc just the software they provide for all the bookies offers.
Mate got me onto it when he moved back from the UK was doing it over there made about 30k (in pounds). Found out you can sign up to aussie bookies from nz accounts so Im going to do the sign up offers for my families accounts. Nice to be positive from the bookies.

The bookies haven't cut me off for a reason.....the 13 years of mug betting previously!
Ive lost plenty....but my big losses have come off the back of alcohol,drugs,melbourne cup and the Crown Casino high rollers room. But thats a story for another day.

Speaking of bookies cutting us off, I lost ladbrokes this week. Taken some big wins off them previously but got account back and all was well but now limited for no reason. The livechat discussion got heated (on my side anyway) and now I have about $25 in the account and the bets are not being accepted at all!
So add that to Neds in the no category for now. A mate of mine got chopped from 365 during the netball world cup. Took $35k off them in about 5 days then bam the email came through. Set an account up in his partners name and won $3k then bam gone again. Must have linked them through IP addresses or betting analytics.

Just throwing this in here, genuinely curious (and worried...).
What is the presumed issue here causing the uptick in deaths? First of all, is it an uptick? (Some evidence suggests otherwise.) Is it the hard dirt tracks in America? Is it the in-breeding? Have comparable numbers of deaths increased in NZ, Aus, Japan and/or Europe?
It’s a scary thing but you just know the SJW/PETA crowd (as below) are trying to kill the sport Stateside.
