I always saw him as a cult hero much like Banks. Was good in a scrappy sort of way.
thats about how i saw him, wasnt calling for him to be dropped or anything, did a role, but always saw him as a squad player with a good nickname rather than one of the first names on the team list

@Kiwiwomble anyways back to Lowe he'll be in our starting backline wearing 14, the other Jona at 11, now just need to sign a certain twin from wellington to wear 13 & things on paper will look much better than the season just gone.

They don't have anyone doing the comms for them in any professional sense at the moment, which is why you see them refer to themselves as the "Highlander's" in the first paragraph of the release. Absolute amateur hour. It's their own fucking name!

And The Barracuda is still a good club man. I have seen him on the sidelines of club rugby grounds in Napier and Waipukurau on the last three Saturdays, and just as importantly in the clubrooms having a beer with his mates afterward. You can't get more Kiwi rugby blokeish than that.
