Great example of writing to your audience. All the ways the All Blacks cheated plus all the reasons the Aussies were good.

@MiketheSnow No clean sweep. Argentina XV beat Georgia 30 - 24. Uruguay still has to play Romania.

That doesnโt count ๐
Romania have won 8 of the last 10 against Uruguay, so not looking good for SHโฆ

On Monday morning (NZT time), Argentina XV beat Georgia 30 - 24 in Kutaisi, Georgia.
I think this result, as well as that of the Romania v Italy game (above), shows that Georgia and Romania aren't quite good enough to join the Six Nations. There still quite a bit weaker than Italy.
That aged well. Georgia 28 beat Italy 19.

@Billy-Tell Yep.
-
- Congratulations Georgia
- What an atmosphere. On the list to see a match in this stadium
- Georgian 15 is dynamite
- The decision to award the first Georgian try was an absolute joke
- Georgian commentary is up there with the Brazilians
- World Rugby has to stop substitutes entering the field of play to congratulate teammates
Easy answer, disallow the score

Japan 15 - 20 France
Two superb tries from Japan and a hell of a hit to deny them the win

Deciders everywhere this weekend
The 3 test tour lives and breaths

Was such a well worked play too by Japan off the back of the lineout. The French got caught out by a bigger body catching the pass from the lineout. France found a way to hold on and thatโs really what matters.

The 15 looked lethal. Cullenesque. At some point a defender will be impeded by subs in the ingoal. I agree it should be banned.

Good to see Georgia talent spreading beyond their pack. They've added some good young 9's and 10s the last few years. Good enough to play Top14. Now a dynamite fullback.
Slightly off topic. On 10s (first-five / flyhalf). Remember reading a Tier2 blog a few years ago analysing how few very good 10s are produced in Tier 2 countries. The most difficult position for those countries to fill.
I think the article was basically celebrating the (current) Uruguay flyhalf playing Top14 rugby in France, mentioned that IIRC Gareth Rees is the only other 10 produced by a Tier 2 country good enough to play pro in the top overseas leagues, in the 20 odd years of pro rugby.
Other instances of Tier 2 countries getting a goood generation or good RWC performance have usually been based on a Tier 1 produced 10. E.g. Samoa with Stephen Bachop or Darren Kellett, 1990s Italy with Diego Domingues, Andrew Miller with Japan, Nicky LIttle with Fiji, AJ McGinty currently with USA etc etc
I guess the current Japan 10 would qualify.
