The preview isn't showing, just shows an empty quote box and don't even seem to be able to click on it. No issues anywhere else.
Any ideas?
I get this quite often, but when I refresh it's there.

A quick fix for some tweets that are not embedding properly:
change:
to:
So remove the questionmark and everything following it, at the end of the url.
I've seen that before somewhere ...

Anyone else having problems with Safari lately when it comes to viewing embeds, like X (twitter), seemingly do not open within this browser. But works viewing on chrome browser on laptop? @Duluth

@bayimports I have that problem on Opera. Most
twitterX embeds fail to show. I've deleted cookies and it didn't make a difference. The odd things is it sometimes works. I can't work it out and have been too lazy to attempt to problem solve.Everything else seems to work regularly.

I moved you posts to this thread. I think it's a similar issue?
If the url is x dot com it won't embed but twitter dot com should?
The not opening, is that on an x dot com url?

The following captures my odd experience:
Example from https://www.forum.thesilverfern.com/post/913344
Just reading the thread I'll get this:
But if I quote the post I can see it embed in the draft reply:
edit - that's twitter dot com too

Ok, I'm not getting that issue (tested on a couple of browsers)
The first image looks like the ancient twitter plugin has replaced it but not rendered it. I see that sometimes after a post is submitted but after that it's fine. Not sure why yours is failing more often
Again, I think I need to change up a bunch of embed stuff. Probably not happening until January
