Conrad Smith was injury prone a lot early in his career. To try add some optimism to the discussion.

You can conclusively see that nothing can be between the ball and the ground. Or not if you're so shit a ref you get sacked back to first grade.
Nope not how it works, they have to see it touch to overturn a no try call by the ref.
That's not what the protocol was when I did my level 2.

Only if he sees it touch the grass. He didn't. The law may overturn logic, but logic must not overturn the law
