@Buff that's probably the weakest team we've put out all year. Rip.

He was on the bench for the MP game in early April. I don't think Thwaites has played at all this season.

Likewise. We just can't go back to Hunt.

@Machpants eh he isn't a world beater but he gets unfairly dumped on IMO.

Our locks are also pretty unimpressive outside Holloway so it's not like he's got much competition.

@Kiwiwomble 6 fellas who have played for Ta$man on the bench, Mako fans see this & can't help but have the Landers as their #1 Team in Super🙂

@FakatavaFuture its weird, i obviously have players i like, but i never "follow" them, i always support otago and the highlander regardless of who is playing for them

Inconsequential game for the Highlanders. Our future is a plucky knockout loss to the Blues at Eden Park.

Tahs really want to win to get out of finishing 7th and a loss to the Crusaders in Christchurch.

To continue last week's conversation, CGB has started the game like a first five leading up to that try.

This is from the Stuff website:

There's been a rash of late changes to both sides. Ainsley and Umaga-Jensen for the Highlanders are out, with Ma'u and van Vugt coming into the starting lineup. Hohneck and Coombes-Fabling come onto the bench, while Mikaele-Tu'u has dropped to the bench for Renton to start. For the Tahs, Holz has been ruled uot, bringing Ryan in to start and Smith in on the bench.

Who’s the left winger? He’s been completely outmuscled everytime he’s gone into contact.

    Landers definitely lacking firepower.
