@Dan54 although he may have subsequently made himself unavailable if they then came knocking after overlooking him initially?
Christian Cullen has entered the chat (again)

I'm no longer confused about Grace. From the article it appears he always knew he was Maori, but didn't really know his whakapapa or interact with Te Ao Maori much, probably in part due to growing up in Timaru. Tamati Ellision encouraged him to make himself available.
I like that the Maori team can introduce players to Te Ao Maori if they didn't grow up in the culture.

I couldn't find this on Twitter, YouTube and Instagram, so I don't know whether this will embed properly.
Our newest documentary, Legacy: The Maori All Blacks, is premiering tonight at 7.30pm on Sky Sport 1, and we've got a sneak peek for you right here
Clearly not.
All links should go to the same video on Facebook.

@Stargazer I don't want to be pedantic but the name of the club is the Poneke Football Club. A minor correction but one that means a lot to us who are members of "Football" clubs that play rugby. Shame on the boffins at the Rugby Union to make such a bad slip up.
