@Kiwiwomble And can't have been many turning out for the combined Nelson Bays/Marlborough outfit either given the hiding they got.

Here are the results for the Chiefs Centurion Cup today:
Game 1: CM 31 - 12 Waikato (HT: 12-5)
Game 2: BOP 50 - 5 Taranaki (HT: 17-0)
Game 3: Waikato 7 - 5 Taranaki (HT: 7-0)
Game 4: CM 19 - 5 BOP (HT: 7-0) - CM winnersI wouldn't read too much into the results as the strength of the teams varied in each game. ENS did at lot of damage out wide against the inexperienced Waikato outside backs in the 2nd half. BOP started Trask at 1st 5 against Taranaki, and Sangster and MSR at lock. The Taranaki team that played Waikato was stronger with more Chiefs players.

That Canterbury team looks a lot closer to full strength than the Ta$man one - though we've got some of our bigger guns on the bench.
A few out for Canterbury

Ennor.
Matale
Drummond

Romano

Jager
McAlisterAll will be in the top 23
Canterbury looking pretty stacked this year - will be much more of a threat to win it all this year, assuming the coaching has improved.
Do you know what happened in this game? I've only seen Stargazer's halftime score and a guy on the Mako facebook page saying he went home at halftime because it was 40-0. I'd imagine the bloodbath continued!!
Frizell was down to play the 2nd half, but I presume he would have been elsewhere? Wonder how much rugby he's played in recent weeks?
p.s. Among the comments on the team announcement on the Mako page is a link to a livestream (I presume it's real) - you need to create an account so I didn't bother. In case anyone is interested.
