He already does in T20. Eighth most wickets of all time:

Elliott bags another one. So much for that potential Bangladesh upset.

Teehee.... :mocking:
-

And he just got the Fizz. Go super slow balls.

All over and the Bangs are done and dusted for 70. Good night.

So who is our opponent in the semis? England or SA?

England if they beat Sri Lanka in a few hours.

If not it's either South Africa or Sri Lanka depending on the outcome of their match.
-

New Zealand v England in the semis. England almost contrived to lose that one, bucking the trend by having the quicks rout the top order but the spinners being tonked and the Lankans getting back into the game. In the end, good death bowling from the quicks and Mathews crocked so he couldn't bat properly in the final overs. NZ needs a nice turner for the semi - and who would ever have said that in the past?

Lol, yup. If anyone said before the tournament we want wickets to suit our bowling demons Sodhi and Elliott/Timmy and Trent wouldn't bowl a ball, they probably would have been relocated to a facility for the certifiable.
-

We are playing on some ground (and possibly pitch? ) as the SL vs England game. Will be Englands 3rd game in a row at that venue, little unfair.

I also have a theory about NZ's supposed batting tactics. I think it comes alot from having such a student of the game opening. I think Williamson reads the pitch in the first few deliveries and overs and sets the tactics for those that follow with instructions be sent back to the dugout, so the batsmen that come in have a clear idea of the pitch. Another reason why Williamson opening is a good idea IMO
