I'm taking cricket form. Last 12 months Taylor averages 45 in tests, 76 (!) in ODIs. But only 20 in T20's. He is in form. That form just isn't flowing into the T20's. He's hitting the ball great, he just hasn't delivered in T20's recently

Ronchi in contrast 11 in ODI & 10 in T20's. He has no form, in any format. Pick any type of cricket you like Luke is out of form.
-

Tests. Last 12 months Ronchi is averaging 59.5. If that's not great form then what is? :fishing: :hi:
-

Ha! And it was away from home too! Yep. His test form is superb.
-

It's worth mentioning that our girls are also dominating their group at the moment --> http://www.espncricinfo.com/icc-womens-world-twenty20-2016/engine/series/901361.html?view=pointstable

7 wicket win against Sri Lanka, 93 run win against Ireland, and last night a 6 wicket win against Australia. We had the Aussies 4-4 at one stage!

I have absolutely no idea who the best women's teams are but that is an outstanding start to the tournament.
-

Aus beat the Bangles. And it's looking very much like if you get Khawaja out, you can stop Australia.

How the fuck can Finch not get a start?
-
My guess it's a selection of two of Finch, Khawaja and Warner.

They like Watson's bowling and to his credit he's pretty good in T20s.

Smith and 'Big Show' are locked in. -

Watson should drop down the order as he is better against the slower bowlers. Warner needs to open. Aussie have a bloody powerful batting lineup, if they click in the right conditions they will be impossible to contain.

-

I think they've got their balance all wrong. They are obsessed with bowling options, and they are picking guys to bowl a bit, and then giving them an over. They bowled 7 guys last night, 2 of which bowled one over each. Do you need Watson and Marsh in the same side?

If it's me, Finch and Warner open, Waj bats 3 (or any mix of that) Smith at 4, Maxwell at 5. Then Watson/Faulkner. Then the bowlers/non-batting keeper (why did they take their test keeper with them when he can't even start for a Big Bash side?)
-

I think NZ would be ranked 3rd behind Australia and England, although England has been the big improver. NZ did beat Aust 2-1 in a T20 series in NZ earlier this year. A great effort from the White Ferns as they had a horror travel schedule to arrive in Nagpur.
-

Given a number of teams open with slower bowlers he's probably not a bad option up there.

However Warner should be opening with Waj at 3. -

Womens cricket is hardly Tennis or Beach Volleyball though is it ? take away the perve factor and it's just a bunch of people bowling slower, hitting shorter and fielding less athletically. Comments I've seen online ( admittedly most of them on Stuff ) are just the typical "Suck on that ozzie" type shit from people who couldn't name a single player in either side.
-

I think Women's cricket is a little more open to variable results because its still largely amateur - and T20 is geared for upsets even in the men's version. That (and Ellyse Perry, and Holly Ferling) made WBBL quite watchable.

So its very hard to put a ranking system on that. I'm hoping the professional status we have here in Oz now will allow more women to get into the game, with more physical training, and lift the standard.
-

I have wondered the same. Don't want to slow the game down maybe? It really should be one review each. -
Guppy gone for a brilliant 80 but nobody else has done much. We need more from the rest of the lineup to convert these starts Guppy is getting us, frustrating.
