If they'd been able to keep wickets in hand, England would have been well on track with this run rate, but...
The Worm makes interesting viewing - that acceleration in the last 10 from Healy and Mooney tho.... man...

There it is. World Champs again!
It’s only woman’s cricket, don’t get cocky.
Didn't even make the final of your own tournament.
And you couldn't even squeeze in any of your trans athletes... while we're on the topic of getting cocky...

That is a real shame. Would have been tough for the girls to face their balls.

Sciver playing a lone hand in the English innings. Might yet achieve The Grade Cricketer ultimate of a century in a losing total in a final...
Sciver was awesome.
But England needed about 3 x Scivers to get close.
Hate myself but was supporting Aus in that one.
Best team in the world gets to say they are.

Was always going to be a very comfortable win for the mob across the ditch... as the commentator Nasser Hussain was saying, it's Aussie then daylight second in women's world cricket.
Our White ferns were dreadful in their own backyard, you'd at least expect them to make the semi, if they don't improve on the following they'll be just as poor at the next CWC :
Fitness Levels have to improve.
Bat with some smarts, good shot selections, run with urgency between the wickets, build much bigger partnerships.
Bowl in good areas for longer periods & bowl well in pairs, trying to keep the pressure on at both ends.
Fielding with more urgency, need to attack the ball in the field. -

I'll settle for improving the catch rate for simple catches. Hard catches are hard - but you can practice and improve the simple ones. And it relaly makes a difference in cricket; creating 10-11 chances vs creating 13-14 chances

Players tend to drop some really easy catches because they take them for granted, they need to focus just as much on a lolly catch as a difficult one... reckon if it's a lolly catch or a difficult one in slips or a diving catch in the outfield it's always so important to let the ball come to you using soft hands, it's when a player pushes their hands forward towards the ball there's a good chance they'll drop it.
