Kylo trying to bowl the same channel now
He's bowling a little bit wide of off stump... needs to bowl on about off stump to try & force them into a mistake.
Not consistent enough. Isn't building pressure
He's normally so good at keeping the pressure on... the bloke is a Glen McGrath type of bowler.
Hasn't been quite as effective this year. Maybe a case of year 2 blues after a rip roaring debut year
Yeah, that would be a good part of it, reckon it didn't help either when he was playing in the IPL.
If he can stay fit he will find his way back. Has the potential to be part of the backbone of the side for much of the next decade
Totally agree... at the moment he looks like he's lacking a bit of confidence, that's a big factor in any sport.
Last year was like a dream. It all came far too easy. Test cricket isn't like that
Good point... Jamieson just isn't bowling consistently in good areas like he was.

I think Wags gets that wicket because the batter is concerned about the threat of short pitched stuff, swings at a slow wide one with his feet rooted to the crease
Fair point... amazes me though how many times bowlers get wickets through some rubbish bowling.

Yeah, through a batsman having a bit of a brain explosion.

Two piss poor shots by Latham & Young has put us under huge pressure... we know Conway & Nicholls have really good composure, hopefully they can build a big partnership.

Badly need these two to stand up.

I like Conway and Nicholls being positive.
We have to take SA on and not let them bowl to us.Yeah, we can't afford to let them pin us down... like the positive way they're playing as long as they show good shot selection.

Hopefully they can build a 100 partnership & keep going as long as possible.

I'm not saying Devon Conway is the third best NZ batsman in my lifetime, but only Crowe and Williamson have batted with less sense of imminent vulnerability as him.
He is being totally done over here but looks like he can get through it.
Fleming, McCullum and Taylor all at their peaks could be dominant but each obviously had their own glass jaws.

He has a technical fault with his front foot and falling over to off.
Rabada is working on that making it tough.
Conway is good enough to work through it. -
Reckon Conways need to cover off stump better & not keep fending outside off... needs to get in behind the ball & play straighter.
