Unlucky Players not to pick up Super Contracts

Suddenly having form in the second half of the NPC can make you unlucky. There's a limited number of contracts by that stage
Conversely, not playing much NPC seemed to work for some. Hicks being an example.

Any players from the three Auckland teams that never got the chance to show their wares. Counties did get an increase in the number of Super rugby players thanks to the Drua and Moana.
CM did alright, in fact they didn't get to make reputations worse
I don't think there were any players that would have been gunning for the next level that missed out really.

It was probably worse this year too. The season went later than normal and a lot of contracting would have happened during the covid break
Was there room for a 10/12 in any of the 5 NZ sides when Leuila became a starter for Waikato (late October)? There was probably room at MP and he's unlucky he didn't wind up there
yeah, thats fair, ya feel for these guys though

A few props from North Harbour might have been in with a chance:
Nic Mayhew
Teague McElroy
Fatongia Paea
Jimmy RootsWould also like to have seen more of Tate Evans and Jack Heighton.
From Auckland would have been interested in the form of lock Felix Kalapu, loose forwards Kitiona Vai, Niko Jones, and Terrell Peita, and the two U20 props.
