    <p>NZ Women win 26-5. Despite missing several of the more experienced players, they looked good in this game. I hope they can also play like this against stronger teams.</p>

    <p>The field this is being played on looks to be as bad as the one in Melbourne in terms of cutting up. You can notice it cutting up even as players are simply running and it looks like the groundsmen have simply filled up yesterdays divots with sand. One key England player has already been invalided out in the first game today, but whether that is attributable to the pitch is debatable. </p>

    Nz lose 12-7. I thought they played bloody well though - gave a good account of themselves.

    <p>Without having watched too much sevens, I'd tend to think, barring injury, Akira Ioane, Forbes, Curry and Mikkelson are certainties. I think Sam Dickson might be out of the equation.</p>

    <p>I'd imagine they'll pick Sonny Bill and Liam Messam.</p>
    <p> </p>
    <p>So, another six..mainly from - Savea, Pulu, Lam, Baker, Ahki, Reiko Ioane, Kaka, Webber, Ware?</p>

    Chris B, I reckon SBW and Kaka are certainties. Kaka is a genuine "something from nothing" option. Plus his quick acceleration is pretty important for us. <br><br>
    SBW on the big stage and all that....

    <p>Kaka seems to be one of our few genuine playmakers and the most reliable kicker. Seems to be pretty error-ridden in general play as well and I find myself throwing my hands up in the air at plenty of what he does, but I suspect you're right. </p>
