I thought I'd start a thread for non AB news and stuff. Along with the bokke talking about pulling out if they have to quarantine again, Samoa have pulled out. There is a shake up of the England quarantine requirements coming, and SA may well be taken off the red list, rumor says.

@stargazer said in EOYT 2021 News:
I've seen rumours (posted by sports journos on Twitter) that Tonga may pull out of their tour as well.
If they catch covid, Samoans aren't allowed home for 6 months! If the article is correct. No way they can tour with that.

From the Tonga RU Facebook page:
Toutai Kefu has finished piecing together a competitive 'Ikale Tahi squad for the Spring Tour. Featuring players from 10 countries, a mix of young and experienced with 10 new caps, this squad will face Scotland, England, French Barbarians and Romania. Missing many new caps from July because of the MIQ rules in NZ, this gives these players a chance to put their best foot forward for 2023
