@mariner4life nah, he claims to have made peace with that....
-
@taniwharugby The Ranfurly Shield is like Amy Schumer, when you've made off with Scarlett Johansson at the big Premiership dance!

@Chris-B you keep telling yourself pal
Ranfurly is the Ta$man Unicorn!
we shall ignore that I wasnt born last time we held the damned thing...
Young whippersnapper.
I recall listening to the game on 2ZA where Chippie Semenoff kicked the penalty.
I was torn as we'd not long shifted from Northland.

I had to google to see when you last held the Shield. Seems like you might have attracted a "Curse of the Bambino" due to your disgraceful conduct as shield holders!
You might need to have an exorcism at Okara Park - send offerings to Otago and Southland, summon and worship Laurie Mains, sacrifice a few virgins if you can find them...that sort of thing!

Nakarawa
Probably posted elsewhere as it's old news but he's gone back to the Glasgow Warriors.

Because it doesn't relate to 2020, and lacking a better thread to post this, I'll post this here.

And people say that putting AIG on the jerseys cheapened the All Black legacy, not showing these three in one:

@antipodean It Reminds me of Australian Rugby putting a Wallaby jersey on a muppet like Nick Cummins or The Honey Badger or Bunny badger what ever he was called.

Tim Perry.. of all the players who had multiple starts for the Blues he was the worst. Second place is miles behind him. Think of all the crap players that played for the Blues over the decades Tim Perry was number one. Well done.
Managed to win three super rugby titles though!
Didn't really watch him at the blues but he was decent for the crusaders and ultimately managed to push crockett out of starting his last final.

Not to mention a fairytale end to his career winning the M10 Cup with the Mako in his final match.
Six test caps.
And even memorable for the Blues....
Pretty solid, Tim!
