He should be but it depends on
- whether they re-sign Garden-Bachop
- whether they re-sign James Marshall
- when Fletcher Smith comes off-contract and whether they re-sign him if that's this year
- whether the Canes are finally going to develop players from the Bay including by giving them game time
-
@Stargazer with Beauden most likely taking a sabatical next year they will most likely end up with all three (Bachop, Smith & McCLutchie).
If they are going to get rid of anyone, it should be Smith. Garden Bachop looked alot better than he did before his injury.

@Canes4life Ideally, from a learning perspective, the Crusaders sign him (they probably won't), so he can learn off Mo'unga and - if he stays - with O'Gara as his coach. If BB isn't at the Canes, he doesn't have a good senior player to train with. But I don't know whether he'd be better off at the Chiefs; he may get more game time behind MMac (if he's staying); not sure whether they'll re-sign Falcon.

The Crusaders have that young kid from Aussie in their system, surely they will bring him through.

@Canes4life This young Player

@Canes4life He should now be in the Ta$man Academy. You'd expect him to be in the Ta$man U19 squad this year.
-
@Stargazer surely then if they have put that much effort into getting him over from Aus, they wouldn't then go and sign McClutchie.
-
@Canes4life In experience, McClutchie is well ahead of him, having played Mitre 10 Cup. It depends entirely on how much experience they're looking for in their third first five-eighth. Something we don't know; so everything is just speculation. If you read my earlier post, you will have noticed that I said between brackets "they probably won't".
