Can they still play?
-
@bovidae Thing is, I'd be reasonably happy if I knew for certain that certain young players had a development contract, but they never publish those lists.
Oh, and look at this post:

Devan Flanders told me the three-year contract was : first year as development (covering him in the Under 20's next year) and years two and three are full contracts.
It is eminently possible that others like Kereru-Symes,
Fakatavaand McClutchie have something similar. From a Hawke's Bay perspective I hope so. -

Olmsted!
He’s not kiwi, but I’m still surprised he didn’t find a home. I’d take him at the Chiefs.
It's surprising they didn't pick him up as it appears its Chiefs policy to pick foreigners (the Crusaders seem to have slowed their similar policy).

In itself, that’s a firing offence. He’s a good player, but not one you lock up and don’t protect. He’s our MMac - can’t fucking get dropped.
The issue is the Blues have almost half a dozen of these clowns clogging up their squad. Collins, Tupou, Apisai, Pulu, Nock,

@kiwimurph Yeah poor recruitment over the years is still fucking us over. Wel still have massive holes at hooker, halfback, centre and fullback.
Looks like another long season for the Blues.
-
So the Highlanders hoard looseforwards, chiefs have a gaggle of props, Crusaders maintain their tradition of saying we want all the first fives, Hurricanes are heavy on hookers and the Blues have taken what they can.

Has Hoani Matenga made a squad?
Franchises don't need guitar players in the professional era.
That's me saying no I don't think so.
Yeah, I did a quick scan and couldn't see him.
