The bid includes some of the most state-of-art, massive, technologically advanced and luxurious sporting venues in the world – from iconic venues like the Rose Bowl to recent Super Bowl host venues like Hard Rock Stadium in Miami and Levi’s Stadium in the Bay Area. A projected 3.1 million fans could attend Men’s Rugby World Cup events in the U.S. across 48 matches.

How many groups are there?
I think groups centred around Seattle (Can throw Vancouver a bone too), SF for starters would be good. I am not familiar with the main US bases for rugby but they have plenty of choice

I think his point is they are great NFL stadia, but not great for rugby. NFL tend to be skinnier - will limit space I expect.
Will be interested to see where it goes, as I'd love to go and do some of the trip over there. Honestly, I've found the pool stages more fun at times, as it's just a bunch of rugby loving folk out on the lash. Great times, and less anxiety than the risk of yet another QF SF loss. Yes, I'm bracing myself.

If they cant make the ground full size I would prefer to avoid NFL stadia. The game at Soldier field made expansive rugby very difficult

The fact that they’re looking to host the WC earlier than normal, pushing it to the Summer months not early Autumn.
Good luck if you’re based south of the Mason Dixon Line.
In fact, everywhere but the West Coast will be unbearable in August.

Tottenham hotspur stadium is built to play NFL and football. I think the width is there if you widen the sidelines, because NFL have so many personnel on the sidelines

Any rectangular football stadium can accommodate NFL because NFL fields are smaller. A rugby field in a dedicated NFL stadium is ~50% as wide again. Which I suspect would have very little space between the immovable and the sideline.

The USA venues have been selected for the 2026 FIFA WC. I am assuming many of these stadia will also be favoured for the rugby, but only 5 of the 11 stadiums have grass. No idea about the field dimensions.
