Going to assume Angus Scott-Young is injured.

Bay of Plenty sunshine is traded for blistering Southland conditions this Sunday as the Steamers fly down to Invercargill for a tough away matchup v the Stags in Round 2 of the Bunnings NPC.
Both sides are looking to ignite their 2021 campaigns after suffering opening round defeats at the hands of Ta$man (BOP lost 14-27) and Otago (Southland lost 19-26), respectively.
" Ta$man did us a favour by revealing our gaps and what we need to improve to compete with the best teams in the NPC," says Steamers Head Coach Daryl Gibson.
"We have clearly identified the areas we need to improve and the areas that with a bit of polish can become a point of difference for us, Southland at home is always a challenging game.”
Since 2010, the Steamers have won seven out of their last ten outings v the Stags, including four straight wins and a three from five winning record at Rugby Park.
However, the Stags have also recruited well this off-season. Chiefs representative Lisati Milo-Harris has joined the side alongside Tauranga Boys' College Old Boy Caleb Aperahama, who sadly suffered a season-ending injury in last week’s season opener.
Marty Banks, Isaac Te Tamaki and Solomon Alaimalo are also expected to lace up for Sunday's clash, while the prominent Ethan De Groot remains absent after being called into the All Blacks as injury cover.
The match also marks the first time Steamers lock Manaaki Selby-Rickit and prop Pasilio Tosi will face their former team after spending four and two years with Southland respectively.
"I'm grateful to the Stags organisation for the time I spent down there," says Selby-Rickit.
"They gave me my first opportunity to play professional rugby. They're a great bunch - the staff, the players, and the fans.”
Both men say they’re looking forward to playing their old team for the first time in Bay of Plenty colours.
The game will also be a memorable one for Nikora Broughton, Onisi Ratave and Semisi Paea who are all set to make their Steamers NPC debut.
The Bay of Plenty Steamers v Southland Stags is scheduled for a 2.05pm kick-off on Sunday afternoon at Rugby Park, Invercargill, and will be broadcast LIVE on Sky Sport 2.

How exciting is Ratavae to watch? Feels like he could do anything when he's got the ball in hand.
We look pretty sloppy on attack - lots of handling errors. Pretty happy with our defence though, after the initial period of sustained possession by Southland in the first quarter of the game.
-
This is a hard watch.
-
Really impressed with Chris Apoua on the tight head side , he’s had a great battle with Aidan Ross in fact for most of the scrums Ross has either folded in or gone straight to ground , Ross was a guy they were talking about being an All Black after super rugby ..Apoua who plays for Mid Northern was signed from Northland as a loan player because of the stags injuries..I am still scratching my head how or why the Taniwha did not sign him ..absolutely miffed ,but also shows the eye for talent of Dale McLeod .
Apoua scrumed well against Otago last week , made 17 tackles missed none . -
Brilliant team try for the Stags , well deserved
-
This ref's positioning is terrible. Constantly in the way or unsighted.
-
Huge scrum and Trask bombs a try by being a hungus.
-
@antipodean that change in the front row was huge .
-
@antipodean Yeah that was an absolute lunchtime schoolyard rugby play in not passing that ball. Thankfully Wainui got the job done in the end.
Unrelated - but does anyone know how we ended up with Selby-Rickett signing for us?
-
Hasn't Nathan Harris' ranking fallen in NZ hookers?
-
@aucklandwarlord Money at the end of the day ..!,that’s all it came down to ..can tell this for nothing , his move did not go down well with the Stags especially after they supported him after his brush with the law which if it could gone the other way may have seen him doing jail time .its a dog thing to do , to walk away from an organisation who supported you in a decision that could have lasting consequences on your own life .
-
What a joke

@antipodean said in Southland v Bay of Plenty:

Agreed. That pretty much ran lead blocker NFL style in that try just then.
-
I don't know whether Karpik took a head knock early, but in the second half he became a liability and we looked better when he went off.
I didn't mind the set piece and the defence looked ok, however our attack is very clunky.
Nikora Broughton and Onisi Ratave looked very good.
Happy to get out of Southland with a win and a bonus point.
