This has bigger ramifications than just the Warriors , we now have a good portion of the kiwi team in shit form ,

Including Issac Luke who was one of the top 3 hookers in the game the last few years at Souths ,

My advise to a promising young kiwi league player would be , play for an Aussie team, dont go to the warriors

Most of the Storm pack took your advice ....

I look forward to Cam Smith and Billy Slater's retirement so I can actively support the Storm
-

The players clearly don't give a fuck. Whatever the management is doing, their doing it wrong. We're not talking about a specific group of players here, we're talking about players that thrive at other clubs then come to the Warriors and look decidely average.

There must be a major problem with accountability at the club, from the top down. I thought Doyle would fix this but even he seems incapable of turning us around
-

Well it has come to this.

Cappy is gone as coach. The guy appears to be taking the advice from all the critics and once you do that, the end is nigh. A 3-16 record over the past few months isn't good enough regardless of your roster. In most pro sports you would already be fired and replaced. Obviously he has lost the locker room, or at the very least with a certain clique.

Konrad Hurrell, even if the retweet was a moment of silliness, has to go too. I was a supporter for him to a starter in the team but it is apparent he's a bad egg (it was apparent before but you hoped he would grow out of it). Let him sign elsewhere in the coming days.
-

The thing with Konrad ,

He could get signed elsewhere and be a bloody good player in a different environment
-

Or continue to be bloody difficult, especially if he's let loose in Sydney or the GC.
-

Yeah GC is not the place for a smart arse with an attitude and a penchant for shenanigans.

It's not? Coulda foolled me.

Might not be great for his football career and he might get shot but I reckon he'd fit right in... -

Vatuvei, Matulino, Thompson dropped from Kiwis

Gets worse for the 'bad eggs'
-

Decent half of league, much better to watch than last week that's for sure. Lillyman would be having a great game if he had glue on his hands, instead he's just having a good one.

Bloody good first half effort, team actually looks interested without the deadwood that was dropped to reserve grade

All this is, is the bounce back from last weeks hammering, I think the dropped players have little to do with it.

St George were shafted in the Benji no try - I think the Widdop one was fair enough.
-

not sure how you can say that when there have been a raft of changes, much publicised issues, those that were playing woulda felt keenly aware of the need to step up, for the right reasons not because of the humping the stars that were dropped got last week.
-

First time in a long time (last being 2007) that the Warriors have won over St George. And what a time for it to happen.

Some thoughts:

- Have always raved about David Fusitua but I really didn't know how he would go at the back. Well, if (and that is a questionable 'if') he stays healthy, he's the fullback for the remainder of 2016. Best defensive fullback in the squad - great under the high ball, great with the grubbers, and a huge beast that can knock back even a charging frontrower the size of Rusty Pecker.

- A lot of the replacements stepped up today. Jazz Tevaga is the new Lewis Brown, Matt Allwood proved he can dive for the tryline unlike Jono Wright, Gavet provides some grit, and Sipley and Lane are just big units.

- Lousi and Palavi are still useless.

- Thought Bunji had a decent run today. Could he be in line for a Kiwis call-up? Probably not.

- Widdop on the other hand was useless.

- Nice to see Rusty Pecker back in NZ. Hopefully he can make it through Aussie customs later tonight.

- What the hell was with Lillyman's hands in the first half? Couldn't catch a cold if he tried.

- Jono Wright - just stay away from first grade bro.

- Matulino, Vatuvei and Thompson out of the Kiwis - Matulino is the only loss for the Kiwis. The other two were nowhere close.

- Mannering out for a month. Bugger.

- The coach is still getting fired but he can now give the finger to certain individuals in the team with some confidence restored.

- Team for the next game (in two rounds):

1.Fusitua 2.Allwood 3.Asyhford 4.Kata 5.Vatuvei 6.Lolohea 7.Johnson 8.Lillyman 9.Luke 10.Matulino 11.Hoffman 12.Thompson 13.Lane

Bench: 14.Leuluai 15.Gubb 16.Gavet 17.Tevaga
-

No because the NRL is loaded with Kiwi players these days.
-

Sweet, I haven't watched superleague in years but the level of play was never as good as the NRL even when we had the likes of the Paul brothers playing in it. I imagine it hasn't improved much
-
Matulino is a big loss for us. He's got the best hands of any Kiwi forward and draws in numerous defenders because of his offload ability.

I wouldn't have thought Bodene Thompson was in cooee of getting a test jersey. I can think of 5-6 back row/locks ahead of him.

Do t think Benji will get a recall even though we are undermanned. I'd have TL starting before giving Benji another game.
