yeah I was curious as to what exactly a 'bro culture' is.

Do they call each other bro all the time instead of names?

I'm pretty sure Lowey meant to say "brown culture" but dropped the last 2 letters so it doesn't sound racist.
-

He explained it on Radio Sport this morning as a "don't worry, be happy" type of culture.

I was tempted to text in and say, no, no, that's a "Bobby" culture.

Sorry.
-

Not sure that Lowe can be accused of being racist.

Seems like he had a strong affinity with his players

“Aussie coaches were in your face, talking a million miles an hour and would humiliate you in front of your team-mates,†says Filipaina. “Lowey was different, he did the little things that made you comfortable and trust him.†Prior to the decision to tactical switch, Lowe did something extraordinary. He called his secret weapon in Auckland; Olsen’s late mother Sissie. Lowe explained the challenges Olsen faced in Lewis and tried to get her buy in. “No coach will ever have as much power as a mother and she is the best judge of what he is capable of,†Lowe said explaining his strategy. “If Sissie had even the slightest doubt, I wouldn’t have shifted him.â€

More like shitty journalism not elaborating on what Lowe was saying.
-

Team named to buck the Broncos in Brisbane. Cappy appears to have nailed his nutsack to this line up. Win or get fired in 3. RFM the only change with Henry gone.

That was a great read, cheers for posting that, you're right its not fair to call Lowe a racist. Loudmouth jackass yes, racist no.

"I'm 49, I've had a brain haemorrhage and a triple bypass and I could still go out and play a reasonable game of rugby union. But I wouldn't last 30 seconds in rugby league." - Graham Lowe (1995)
-
All buckled in for the Broncos game. They've gotta be better than last week, surely?
Read something somewhere on the interweb, Matty Johns thinks the Warriors need to play more direct up the middle of the park, and revolve their game plan around Luke.... That was something I asked last week - where are the trademark Issac Luke dummy half darts?

And something that I don't buy is the excuse that the combo of Luke, Johnson & RTS needing time to gel.
Bullshit!
They play together for the Kiwis, and they've gone pretty bloody well lately, with those three a big part of that!

No excuses, just do the bloody business! -

Explains it better than myself or anyone else on here. Just take the pill and run it up the middle all day long. It will open the lanes for SJ and RTS.

Also don't play sideways.

And use Konrad Hurrell.

Basically do the opposite of what you did last weekend.
-
Gee what a surprise, the Broncos playing on a Friday night. At least the TV deal means i don't have to listen to Ray Hadley, and my ears aren't at risk of the screwdriver treatment.
-
This looks like first grade against reserve grade.

6-0 after 8.

Bye coach -

I didnt see too much last week ,

Johns rates Luke highly , well he did when he was a wabbit ,

And i heard him through the week saying they have to revolve their game around Lukes strengths
-

We've looked good in the last 10 minutes. Making big yards and holding our D line. -
Why can't RTS tackle?

We've been the better team for nearly 20 mins they finally shift to the left and we give up another. Shit effort by the fullback lets it in though.

12-8 -
Agreed Brandy not enough urgency from the cover. Up your game
-
As I finish typing a complimentary post, we play some matador defence and let them in. RTS a shocker
-
Kata is playing alright actually great runs out of dummy half
-
Good finish. Looks like Blake A is goneski.

But man it's disappointing to see a couple of decent ingoal kicks and not forcing a repeat set. -
