@kiwiwomble I still have got my 1995 World Cup (even though it did not officially take place!)number 11 jersey with the obligatory CCC logo, big white collar and think it might even have the Steinlager emblem on it as well. It only comes out for special occasions mind you, mainly because it is now of the modern day fit rather than the rather largish fit it was when I first acquired it.

do you follow the socials? (super rugby or the teams?), ive seen posts all week...but not much other than saying that its this week
Not actively, but I did see the Chiefs have two heritage-related SM posts. They advertised the Super Round in Melbourne but nothing about the heritage round.

force doing one
-
The idea the Force have a heritage jersey is ridiculous.

less ridiculous than a team that has a grand history of 2 games?

17 years isn't exactly "new"

Yet, itβs the best heritage jersey Iβve seen for a long time.
I think itβs good that they acknowledge rugby existed before Super.
Edit: Agree with @Bovidae though that the yellow 1992 jersey would have been good to see.

The Force wasn't created out of a club, or subsequently an amalgamation. Its only history of note in the competition is to be kicked out for a while.
Even RugbyWA knows what's up:

@kiwiwomble MP have a heritage jersey:
Edit: it looks like they're the only franchise in NZ, at the moment, with a special jersey..
-
@mariner4life Literally forgot they were in the comp.
You look at the comp as a whole and it appears it's been inbreeding for a few generations compared to the glory days.

Some of those odds are remarkably flattering IMO.
Caveat: Not a bookmaker nor a professional punter.

Wasn't the Friday 15th game Highlanders v Hurricanes?
Yes, but they made two changes. Originally Chiefs vs MP was April 15, then moved to April 16 to give both teams another day after the April 12 (Tuesday) game which is no longer happening. Highlanders vs Hurricanes moved to the Friday.
-
But the Crusaders v Blues is now on the 15th
Friday, 15 April: Crusaders v Blues, Orangetheory Stadium, Christchurch, 7.05pm β Postponed from Round 5
I think both the games you mentioned are now on the 16th but they missed a line in the updates?

@fakatavafuture I guess the positive is that when they face those Aussie teams they will be battle hardened.
