neither will be worn for the round as they have old sponsors/manufacturers
if we did get one it would be like the chiefs did a couple of years back, old design with current sponsors and adidas

@kiwiwomble To me that Chiefs jersey is a retro jersey (modernised version of the old/vintage jersey). Heritage IMO refers to the heritage of the players or the club. Ancestry. Cultural patterns. IMO the current Chiefs jerseys is more a heritage jersey that that retro jersey (which I like more than the current one).

@stargazer im just basing it off what comps like NRL and AFL have done, where heritage if often means the heritage or history of the club
NRL Heritage Round - It is an opportunity for clubs and fans to reflect on their heritage and past glories. As such Jerseys similar to a club's original strip, or strip worn at a particular match or final are a way to reignite rivalries and past glories. -

whats everyones thoughts on this tackle from the Rebels v Tahs game
The other rugby forum im on, all the NH posters are saying this would have been a straight RED in the NH....i look at it as a good ball and all tackle with an accidental head clash....shoulder to shoulder, right arm wrapping around the front, worrying not only how different things may be refed around the world but where we're going

@kiwiwomble Hard to say from a still photo from the wrong angle. If it's shoulder to shoulder with an attempt to wrap and a head clash, then no card. If the shoulder or arm slipped up and hit the Rebel's head, it would be a yellow. But I haven't seen it in a video from multiple angles.
Edited to add that it doesn't help that WR is changing the rules, or their application guidelines, about every year!

TJ Perenara in line for first Hurricanes game since 2020
After a stint in Japan in 2021 and a knee injury to start 2022, the star halfback is set to make his comeback on Friday.
Perenara's return will be in a limited capacity though as he will be restricted by the All Blacks' return to play protocols for the early rounds of the Super Rugby season.
Despite the limitations, Gibbes said the Hurricanes understand they're part of a bigger picture in helping the All Blacks reclaim the Rugby World Cup next year.
"It's not so much making it easier, it's about making sure that we're all aligned with New Zealand Rugby - and we are in a lot of areas," Gibbes said.
"We've just got to do what's right for the player, that's key here. Anything we do, we've got to put that player at the centre." -

A Blues update from an article about Caleb Clarke:
The Blues, like their southern mates at the Highlanders and Crusaders, had to take an unscheduled period off last week to deal with a widespread Covid outbreak, but are back in business, with a near full head count on deck at training to plot a second straight crack at the southerners. âPretty much everyone is back after their seven-day blocks.
