- No more captains challenge
- Red card replacement after 20mins is back
- Golden point extra time (wasn't in SR TT last year)
1st 2 of the 3 are good, although the 3rd isnt a huge deal.

The goal line dropout and 50-22 kicks also remain.
hate both those rules!!
Really dislike the 50-22 goal line drop out just meh.
Really happy no captains challenge, and I dislike the golden point, a draw is a result! -

I too hate those league rules, and now they've gone and added golden point. Idiots.

@tim without DMac that is a big call. I think with the Chiefs it will be a case of keeping their big guns fresh and healthy because I don't think they have the same depth as the likes of the Crusaders.
Yeah, totally agree. They based so much of their attack off DMac last year, and he was a wizard. Depth has always been their biggest issue, and although they've improved it, we've seen what a run of injuries has done in the past.

James Parsons is picking the Chiefs as favourites for the title.
James parsons took too many shots to the head

Have to with Le Blues this year, but Chiefs squad is very strong, excellent depth (in positions 1-13) and their forward pack is littered with plenty of current and potentially great future All Blacks. Props, hookers, locks, loose-forwards, halfbacks, first-fives, & midfield backs, as good as any franchise, if not better.
-
the Chiefs just don't have the innovative systems to elevate their under-talented players

I assume that is the same thing shown on Sky, which I've never watched either.

I don't watch it often but it's not bad.
Parsons generally has interesting points. Hall is good too but is slightly restricted by being a current player
The host keeps out of their way.
Much better info than the other shitty sky rugby shows

It's the only rugby pod/show I consistently listen to, but traveling by train to work helps on that front.
Parson's picking is generally terrible.
However, when Hall and Parsons discuss tactics and operations it really shows how little we understand about the game, as it is played at that level.
Last year they got a bit further away from that, sadly.
I like Hall. He discusses other HBs really professionally and supportively, without even one moan about not being close to AB selection, especially as some of them were clearly playing worse than him.

Parsons' picking isn't helped by his enthusiasm for making "big calls", which is fun though.
Interesting that both he and Hall were picking the Waratahs to improve a lot this season.

@gt12 I've never been a fan of Parsons the player (more on his ability/size than his enthusiasm/drive where he always gave 100%) but enjoyed listening to his analysis, as you say he has some great insights that we arent always onto
