There was talk that they were looking overseas for an experienced lock
Any idea who might be available from foreign ranks?
Ask the Canes coaches, they are awesome at recruiting humungous overseas locks
they just look tall next to Ardie

@taniwharugby Where be this strange "North Land" of which you speak?

@nogusta Maybe Tana is off to Moana Pacifica?
Seems the obvious place for him to go.

Although I hope for a Chief’s miracle against the Blues, I’m looking forward to seeing if RTS can come in and show that he is international quality.

@daffy-jaffy Kneepkens couldn't even get a run this season or Narawa. He's (Leo) probably seen that and doesn't wanna come anywhere near the place! Tele'a hardly had a go either for that matter. Only half a game against the Chiefs really and he didn't go too bad. He be better going to a team likely to play him.

This isn’t nice to say, but fuck Kneepkens a little bit - he would have got time at the Chiefs but went to the Blues where there is/was only one space available if that.
The chiefs have shit wingers and he’d have walked in.

@kiwimurph yea possibly. But a couple of lukewarm games from Evans has seen Kata move to 12 this week for Auckland against BOP. He'll want to get as many minutes as he can for Auckland to show Rangi n co. what he can do. Plummer will have first dibs anyway on the 12 jersey next year so yea Tele'a n Evans will be competing for the backup 12 spot.
