The Chiefs Region competition starts this Saturday. Waikato plays Taranaki U19 in Hamilton (Fred Jones Park) at 1 pm.

I don't know if there is a website with a list of all games. The Waikato fixture list and results are:

@bovidae Great, thanks. It's hard to keep an eye on all these games without a site listing them all. I have the list with the games in the Hurricanes region, but for the other regions it's really difficult.

I hope everyone will post it if they have info about provincial U19 fixtures and team line-ups (with links, please)!

Waikato have named their squad. Disappointing with the injuries to Molia and Strang as they would have been starters.

The Central Region Shield (Hurricanes region U19s competition) will go ahead, according to a statement from the Hurricanes Youth Rugby Council. All going to plan, the first round will be played on Saturday, 18 September 2021.

If the original draw is still valid, that means:

More typos. Some players back from injury and others missing.

I went to watch the Waikato-Taranaki U19s game as it was at a local park.

Waikato won 38-22 (HT: 19-3) which was a fair reflection of the two sides. Waikato were guilty of throwing too many miracle passes so left plenty of points on the field. A dominant scrum though.

I don't think Waikato U19s will be playing Thames Valley tomorrow due to L3 but maybe BOP and Taranaki are playing each other.

Taranaki U19s did host BOP U19s yesterday in Inglewood. BOP won 30-21.
